New Feature: Main Roles for Game Lookups
by Linnun on March 03, 2015
We have added a new feature to Game Lookups: You can now see the main role(s) of every player in the game!
This is meant to be an additional indicator for you to see if your lane opponent is experienced in what he does.
Be one step ahead: You know that your lane opponent mains his current role? Be extra cautious!
To determine someone's main role we analyze his recent ranked games and analyze which role(s) he has played in those games.

which means the yellow border?

The yellow border indicates which summoner's game was searched.
This can help you to quickly find yourself if you look up your own game.

i got some basic questions, i'm quite new here :)
1. the Skill score is calculated from all your games played? so normals, ranked,...? or only from ranked games? I was quite confused with that since i saw matches where it said "this player never played that Champion by now" and he still got like 2k skillscore??
2. This perfomance i can see underneath each player: what does that performance shows? ranked games stats only?
Thanks for your help.

SkillScore is only calculated from ranked games in the current season. SkillScores get reset when a new season starts.
The performance indicator is a comparison of a player's stats with a certain champion to the average stats for that champion in ranked games for the past few days. (We have daily fresh average stats for all champions, so your performance indicator may slightly change from day to day, even though your performance is constant)

Thanks for your answers Linnun.
I watched a friend of mine play a and in the performance indicator it said "This player has not played any game with Thresh yet", still there was this red SkillScore of 2300 on the right side. How can he have a Skillscore when he never played Thresh in a ranked game before?
Thank you,
greetings from Oachkatzal

If your friend played a few champions in ranked games and managed to put on a decent performance with them, we assume a minimum score that he would likely get with champions that he has not played yet. (This is usually much less than the average of his other SkillScores)
Experience shows that this 'assumed SkillScore' for unplayed champions is almost always less than players get when they actually start to play the champion in ranked games.

How to do you know what my role was? I mean ok there are certain support champions but I have seen people picking orianna with flash/ignite as support.

@Gamestube
Your role is mainly determined by where you spend the most time in the early game.

There is nothing to download. Simply search for your summoner's game on this website, when you're in loading screen :)
